The Colorado Restaurant Association, Colorado Restaurant Foundation and Planterra Foods are pleased to announce the launch of the OZO Good Relief Worker Fund, a Dine Out to Help Out campaign to help Black-owned businesses and their employees survive the COVID-19 crisis.
The Angel Relief Fund’s Dine Out to Help Out (DOTHO) Black-Owned Businesses campaign is raising funds to help Black-owned restaurants thrive and be able keep employees through the COVID-19 crisis. Planterra Foods has partnered with the Colorado Restaurant Foundation on this effort to help these valued restaurants survive through the OZO Good Relief Worker Fund. Planterra Foods has contributed $20,000 to divide among 20 restaurants to incentivize repeat dining through gift cards. CRF DOTHO funds will be dispersed by check in one lump sum to each participating restaurant. (Each restaurant will receive $1,000 to pay for the $25 “thank you” gift cards to give to customers to entice them to be repeat guests). To access the application, click the button below. - Restaurant Eligibility and Participation Requirements
- Must be an independent, Colorado restaurant (founded and located) or foodservice establishment that has a gift card program.
- Must be a Black-owned business (no minimum percentage of ownership, but at least one owner must qualify).
- Restaurant agrees to use the DOTHO funds to purchase $25 gift cards for any guest spending $25 or more in the restaurant establishment (while supplies last).
- Restaurant will notify CRF immediately when supplies run out.
- Restaurant agrees to market the Angel Relief Fund DOTHO gift card program through its business marketing platforms.
- Restaurants are required to provide sales receipts or a sales report for gift certificate sales to CRF at the end of the marketing promotion.
